Coldstreet

What does ColdAI do for Coldstreet?

Coldstreet turns country-level macroeconomic forecasts and upcoming economic events into an accessible research experience. ColdAI built a platform that connects country outlooks, PANCIS model forecasts, and an economic calendar so users can explore the global economy in context.

The Challenge

Macroeconomic research spans country data, central-bank decisions, inflation forecasts, and a busy release calendar. Reading any one signal in isolation can obscure its timing and context. The product challenge was to bring those views together in a research experience that remains easy to scan and explore.

What We Built

A country-first research interface

Country outlooks bring baseline policy rates, forecast direction, and inflation expectations into a consistent comparison view.

A dedicated forecast model experience

PANCIS forecasts give users a structured way to explore model outputs and the economic questions behind them.

An economic calendar with context

Policy decisions, macroeconomic releases, fiscal events, and auctions appear in a shared calendar with UTC timing.

Forecasts alongside actual releases

The calendar distinguishes event-specific forecasts from month-end context, helping users interpret what a model output refers to.

The Product Approach

The homepage provides a global overview, while country pages and the calendar support more focused investigation. Consistent labels for baselines, forecasts, and actuals make the comparison explicit. The experience is designed for macroeconomic research, with the model and timing context visible in the workflow.

The Resulting Workflow

A researcher can start with the global outlook, investigate a country, and connect its forecast to upcoming events without losing context. Coldstreet showcases the combination of economic modelling, structured information, and an accessible public research interface. This case study describes the product experience rather than claiming investment returns or a particular level of forecast accuracy.
