Usage Policy

1. Overview

This Usage Policy applies to all users of ColdAI LLC's Services, including the Medusa AI Platform, APIs, and any software or tools provided by ColdAI. These rules exist to protect users, third parties, and society from harm, and to maintain the integrity and trustworthiness of our systems.

By using our Services, you agree to comply with this policy. Violation may result in suspension or termination of access, with or without prior notice, depending on severity.

2. Permitted Uses

Our Services are designed to support:

• Productivity, research, writing, analysis, coding, and creative work.
• Business automation, workflow orchestration, and process optimization.
• Educational applications and learning support.
• Software development, debugging, and technical problem-solving.
• Data analysis, summarization, and report generation.
• Customer service, communication, and content creation within the bounds of this policy.

3. Prohibited Uses

3.1 Absolute Prohibitions

The following uses are strictly prohibited under any circumstances:

• Generating content that sexually exploits minors (CSAM) in any form.
• Creating instructions, plans, or materials to develop biological, chemical, nuclear, or radiological weapons capable of mass casualties.
• Developing cyberweapons or malicious code designed to cause significant damage.
• Undermining or circumventing oversight mechanisms of AI systems, including our own safety controls.
• Supporting attacks on critical infrastructure (power grids, water systems, financial systems).

3.2 Conditional Prohibitions

The following are prohibited unless you have explicit written authorization from ColdAI:

• Large-scale automated content generation for the purpose of spam, misinformation, or influence operations.
• Using AI agents to make consequential decisions about individuals (hiring, credit, healthcare, legal) without appropriate human oversight and disclosure.
• Scraping, harvesting, or aggregating personal data of individuals without their consent.
• Generating synthetic media (deepfakes, voice clones) of real individuals without their consent for deceptive purposes.
• Training or fine-tuning AI models using outputs from our Services in ways that violate model provider terms.

3.3 Restricted Uses Requiring Care

The following uses are permitted but require you to exercise heightened care and responsibility:

• Medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical advice — outputs must be reviewed by qualified professionals before acting.
• Content moderation, threat intelligence, or security research — must be conducted responsibly and lawfully.
• Political and advocacy content — must be clearly labeled and must not be used to deceive voters or manipulate electoral processes.
• Emotional support or mental health applications — must not replace professional care and must include appropriate disclosures.

4. AI Disclosure Requirements

When using our Services to communicate with humans who may believe they are interacting with a person, you must:

• Disclose that the communication is AI-generated or AI-assisted when asked.
• Not design AI personas specifically to deceive users about their AI nature.
• Comply with applicable laws requiring AI disclosure in your jurisdiction.

5. Agentic Use Requirements

When deploying autonomous or agentic AI systems using our Services:

• You must define clear scope boundaries and permission systems for what agents can do.
• Agents must not be authorized to take irreversible high-stakes actions (large financial transactions, legal commitments, permanent data deletion) without explicit human approval workflows.
• You must maintain audit logs of agent actions and be able to produce them upon request.
• You are responsible for all actions taken by agents under your account.

6. Enforcement

ColdAI reserves the right to:

• Suspend or terminate access for policy violations, with notice provided where practicable.
• Limit or throttle usage suspected of violating this policy pending investigation.
• Report illegal activity to law enforcement.
• Modify this policy with 30 days' notice for material changes.
