ExClip: cross-chain swaps you can run yourself.

An open-source front end for SODAX (opens in a new tab). People pay on one network and receive on another, with the wallet they already have or a passkey wallet built in.

With a coding agent

Make it yours with a coding agent.

Clone ExClip, open Claude Code or Codex, and ask for your own DEX. The agent reads the docs, writes the config, and asks before it saves.

  1. Clone it

Clone the repository, with Node 24 and pnpm, and run pnpm install once.

  2. Open your coding agent

Start Claude Code or Codex at the root of the repository. Codex reads AGENTS.md, and Claude Code reads it through CLAUDE.md.

  3. Ask for your own DEX

One plain-English request with your name, your company, your logo, a colour and, if you want one, a fee.

Clone ExClip
git clone https://github.com/ColdAI-org/exclip && cd exclip
Then ask your agent
Make this my own DEX: call it Acme Swap, operator Acme Ltd, use acme.svg as the logo, a teal accent, and a 0.1% fee paid to 0xYourFeeReceiverAddress.

A rebrand changes settings, not code, and the agent checks its work: contrast, typecheck, lint, tests and the build. It doesn't deploy anything: your domains, the server, the SODAX key and your legal pages stay with you.

Agents make mistakes, and they sound just as sure when they're wrong, so check what it changed before real users arrive. The agent guide (opens in a new tab)

One config file

One file. Your exchange.

One file, exclip.config.ts, sets your name, logo, colours, domains and fee.

  • Your name and logo

Your product's name and your own logo. A copy you run for other people doesn't present itself as ExClip.

  • Your colours

An accent in three shades, each checked for contrast in light and dark.

  • Your company and terms

Who runs your copy, with your terms of use and privacy notice, in the footer.

  • Your own domain

The app on your domain, and the passkey wallet on a host of its own.

  • A fee, only if you want one

None unless you set one. Up to 1 %, paid to your own address, and shown as its own line in the review before anyone signs. The passkey wallet refuses a fee to any address that isn't on its list.

Built for SODAX

No liquidity to bring. No contracts to write.

ExClip is an open-source front end for SODAX. SODAX quotes and builds every swap, and its relayer and solvers settle it.

  • One signature

Your wallet signs one transaction on the network you pay from, after a token approval if one is needed.

  • Solvers compete

SODAX's solvers compete to fill every swap, and what you bought arrives on the network you chose.

  • No bridge, no order book

ExClip never holds the funds, and it has no bridge or order book of its own.

  • No secret in the browser

Your SODAX key stays on your server, and the app holds no secret at all.

Networks

Every network SODAX settles on.

People pay on one network and receive on another. In the film, the first trade is HBAR on Hedera for USDC on Base.

  • Browser wallets

Trade on every network SODAX lists that your wallet supports.

  • The passkey wallet

It signs on EVM networks, Hedera among them, with one address on all of them.

  • Tokenised stocks

On Hedera, for operators who switch them on.

The wallet

One passkey. One signature.

No extension to install and no seed phrase to type. The passkey wallet is built in, and the DEX never holds the funds.

  • Nothing to install

A passkey unlocks it: the fingerprint, face or device PIN that signs you in to other sites.

  • Its own window, its own review

It opens on a web address of its own, checks every byte it signs against what you asked for, and shows its own review before the passkey prompt.

  • Yours alone

It is self-custodial. Nobody else can move your funds or recover the wallet for you: not the operator, and not ExClip.

  • Or the wallet you have

    Browser wallets work too.

Tokenised stocks

Tokenised stocks on Hedera.

ExClip can offer the tokenised stocks SODAX lists, next to its coins. It ships with them off: a DEX shows them only if its operator switches them on.

If you offer them on your own DEX, compliance is your responsibility.

ExClip's country checks and self-certification are a conservative default, not a compliance programme and not legal advice. Each stock carries the “Tokenised stock” label, in the app and in the wallet window. Tokenised stocks, for operators (opens in a new tab)

ExClip shows this on the Stocks screen and in the review of any trade with a stock in it:

Tokenised stocks are tokens meant to track the price of a company's shares. ExClip doesn't issue them, and holding one may not give you a shareholder's rights: what each token gives you is set by its issuer's terms. They may be restricted where you live. Prices can move sharply, and you can lose all you put in. Nothing here is investment advice.

Coming to Clip Wallet

The same engine, inside Clip Wallet.

Cross-chain swaps on ExClip's engine, right inside Clip Wallet. The review shows the fee and who gets it. Then, one approval.

What you bring

A server, a database, two web addresses and a SODAX key.

  • A server

One Node 24 process, which can serve the app, the wallet and the API.

  • A database

Postgres, which keeps the passkey wallet's encrypted backups. Redis is optional.

  • Two web addresses

One for the app, and one for the passkey wallet on a host that serves nothing else.

  • A SODAX key

In the server's environment. Only the server reads it.
