Mehrzad is the financial steward of the ColdAI group. He owns the consolidated capital strategy across the parent company and the venture studio portfolio — setting the investment thesis behind every allocation, holding the line on unit economics, and personally signing off on the capital structure of every new portfolio company. His decades of operating-finance experience anchor the team's commercial discipline: conservative on commitment, unsentimental on growth investment, and exacting on the quality of the underlying data. He is the executive ColdAI's investors, auditors, and banking partners deal with directly.
Responsibilities
- Owns the consolidated financial strategy and capital allocation framework for the ColdAI group
- Approves the capital structure, funding strategy, and material commitments of every venture studio company
- Acts as principal counterparty to the company's investors, auditors, and banking partners
- Chairs the audit and finance committee and signs the consolidated financial statements
- Sets the standard for financial controls, governance, and internal audit across the group
- Partners with the CEO and COO on long-range planning, M&A, and strategic capital decisions
